Forging manufacturers talk about forgings: a forming method for applying external force to metal blanks to cause plastic deformation, change size, shape and change performance, and are used to manufacture mechanical parts, workpieces, tools or blanks. The types of forgings are: aircraft forgings, diesel engine marine forgings, weapons forgings, petrochemical mine forgings, nuclear power forgings, thermal power forgings, hydropower forgings.

Petrochemical ring forgings: forgings have applications in petrochemical equipment. For example, the manhole and flange of the spherical storage tank, the tube plate required by the heat exchanger, the whole forged cylinder (pressure vessel) of the welded flange catalytic cracking reactor, the barrel section used by the hydrogenation reactor, and the top cover, bottom cover and head required by the fertilizer equipment are forgings.

Shaft parts are one of the typical parts often encountered in machines. It is mainly used to support gears, pulleys, cams, connecting rods and other transmission parts in machinery to transmit torque. According to different structural forms, the shaft can be divided into stepped shaft, tapered shaft, optical axis, hollow shaft, crankshaft, camshaft, eccentric shaft, many lead screws, etc. Forgings are mainly used to support transmission parts, transmit torque and bear load. The shaft part is a rotating part, its length is greater than the diameter, and it is generally composed of the outer cylindrical surface, conical surface, inner hole, thread and corresponding end surface of the concentric shaft. According to the different structure shape, shaft components can be divided into optical axis, stepped shaft, hollow shaft and crankshaft.

Before work, check whether the relevant mechanical and electrical equipment, molds, tools, facilities and hydraulic pipelines are acceptable, and lubricate the equipment, otherwise it is not allowed to be used. The hammer head, hammer rod, die and tools shall be preheated before working in the forging plant. It is strictly prohibited to throw materials at a long distance. Protective baffles shall be added to throw materials at a short distance. Ring forgings shall not be thrown from the sidewalk. Large ring forgings shall be clamped firmly and transported by car. Hand forging is carried out on the anvil by hand forging tools relying on human blows, and the labor intensity is high.

The forging process generally consists of the following processes, that is, the selected billet material, heating, forming, and cooling after forging. Forging process methods include free forging, die forging and tire membrane forging. During production, different forging methods are selected according to the size of the forging quality and the number of production batches.
